Still Knocked Out!
It's Saturday!
And what a day to be sick!
It's no fun!
Especially when you have kids,
and weekend's the only time
you get to put on your walking shoes
and go wherever your feet takes you!

are still in their visiting mood!

a cranky baby who kept pestering you to take him out!
It was only later in the afternoon,
I had no choice,
but to
place Mika on my lap,
facing the windows,
and explained it to him gently
the reasons why we're still stuck at home,
simply because its raining outside, and besides,
Mama's down with flu.
Alhamdulillah....
A smart & obedient boy Mika is!
He just giggled,
den walked away & continued amusing himself
on his elephant!
The rocker, I mean!
Only then the crankiness stopped!
Oh Boy!
Oh, Did I meantioned he walked?
Well, yeah, he did!

I've been stung by the flu bug!
Hit me almost immediately
after we returned from
Lina's Darling Darwisy's
majlis cukur rambut.
So now its time for me to get
plenty of rest,
drink lots of warm water
and
plenty of rest.
Okay,

much needed break!

ROTI LAPIS DAGING
Perap 2 bantal roti perancis dalam 700ml santan.
Bahan-bahan
Daging cincang digoreng hingga masak.
Campurkan hirisan lada, bawang, daun saderi, daun bawang,
bawang goreng & telur 4biji.
Roti yg telah diperap tadi....
3biji telur + garam + butter
diramas2.....
Di'layer' kan di dlm acuan.
Roti, daging, roti, daging, roti....
Begitulah bergilir2, sampai Abang Jamil mampos!
eh, salah! Sampai habis ah!
Dibakar hingga masak.
Abah, Yaya & Keerook
got to savour it as soon as it was out of the oven!
"Rotinyer berlemak! Sedap!" Abah dearest commented!
"Sedap, Long...!" Yaya, aka my No.1 food critic.

"Nice! You did it again with flying colours!" Keerook praised!
When I finally spoon it into my mouth,
I couldn't disagree!

It's always exciting & thrilling
when it comes to doing things
for the 1st time ever;
more so if its
with your loved ones!
No, guys....
No, we didn't go on a holiday!
Not yet...
At least not for now!
But For the 1st time ever,
we took out
Lil' Angel
to Sentosa.
Eh, but 'overseas' jugak kan, namanya tu!
Me, the strict & particular Momma,
Keerook, the stricter & paranoid Ayah
finally decided
now's the rite time to bring
Lil' Mikhail
to Sentosa!
(*Sentosa's sandy beach is cleaner than East Coast, Keerook insisted)
We're glad to took our time in bringing
Lil Mika out.
At least now

had fun playing with Sand,
splashing Sea water,
under the Oh-Not-So-Hot Sun...

Bahan Kisar
5 btg cili kering
5 biji bawang merah
3 ulas bawang putih
halia, lengkuas
2 btg serai
Bahan Tumis
1 biji bawang merah - hiris
1 inci kayu manis
2 biji pelaga
2 biji bunga cengkeh
daun ketumbar
3biji kentang - potong panjang & goreng
1/2 cawan kelapa, dijadikan kerisik
2 sudu makan tomato puree
Peraturan
Tumis Bahan Tumis.
Masukkan Bahan Kisar & tumis hingga garing & wangi.
Masukkan Daging & Air Daging.
Gaul rata.
Masukkan tomato puree & kerisik.
Tambah lagi air daging.
Masakkan ini tidak berkuah & tidak terlalu kering.
Taburkan kentang goreng & daun ketumbar apabila menghidang.
Sedap dimakan dengan roti, roti perancis dan nasi.
