Mika, Finish Your Food Please.....
The last week or so has been hard making
Mikhail
finish his meals.
Just a few spoonfuls
and he decided that he's done.
And he starts playing with his food.
Feed him a spoonful, and seconds later,
he'll push it out with his tongue,
squishing the soft, sticky rice with his
tiny, stumpy fingers.
Mom, Keerook & I sat down,
figuring, brainstorming
what could be wrong....
Why the attitude?
Dia sakit tekak ke? Mom wondered.
kalau dia sakit tekak, biskut pun mesti dia taknak!
Nie tidak...! Kunyah biskut macam real!
Or perut dia not delicious (tak sedap) ? I speculated.
No signs of kembung, confirmed Missy Dillah!
Still I gave him Gripe Water, just in case
Or dia dah jelak ngan nasi? Keerook reckoned.
Lerrr.... Abis, nak kasi apa pulak? Dia dah nak
Nasi Briyani, Nasi Minyak, Kari & Asam Pedas ker?
Well,
Mika
doesn't want to finish his porridge, alrite!
But give him his TamagoBoro, he'll finish it in no time!
Why ah?
The last time he acted this way was
when he's turning 6mths.
He showed similar signs,
indicating he's had enuff of his rice cereals.
And so, we switched from cereals to homecooked porridge,
2weeks short of his 6th mth.
And now....
Does this mean we have to switch again?
So soon?
You see,
I'm particular of what goes into my Baby's growing tummy!
I mean,
he's barely 1, and no, he aint a
TONG SAMPAH PIJAK!
His vital organs are still developing & 'immature'.
And the last thing I want is,
complications resulting from his diet &
my over-eagerness to let him try all sorta nonsense!
The last time he was sick
was when he was 4weeks old,
and hasnt had any reoccurances
since then.
And I hope it to stay that way.
Now you know why I'm very particular over his well-being, huh!
Alah, Mika.....
Why so soon?
Can't you wait till you turn 1?
Can't you wait for another month or two, at least?
Keerook joked,
"Maybe he wants burger!?"
BIG HAHA!
If he wants burger, fine!
But it must be strictly homecooked ones!
Gigi baru 6 batang, dah ekshen nak macam2! Chet!
Burger pun burger lah!
We shall try this weekend, kay!
*Roll eyes*
