Nutella CupCakes
Spent the afternoon baking some Nutella CupCakes.
Sent some over to Cheacher's.
Verdict:-
Lembut... sebab panas2...
Rasa okay....
Okay jer?
She then asked what went into the batter.
Sugar, Butter. Eggs, Vanilla essence. Flour, chocolate chips.
And Nutella.
"No ovelette?"
Uh Oh! Her eyes open big big oredi.
"No."
"Macam kuih buat kat skolah, jer!"
(This, I couldn't disagree....
As much as I like its simplicity & basic ingredients,
I couldn't help but feel like I was in my
Home Econs Class, some 15years ago...)
Gulp!
"Nah! Try this!"
She said as she dig into the treasure chest of her
recipes collection,
all neatly arranged in colour-coded files....
Nie sedap, she said.
Chewah! Promote resipi dia plak!
Still, your cupcakes turned out good, she assured me..
My Cheacher!
Still, she bought my word that the reason behind my
lil' bake-out yg simple2 ajer,
is none other than,
Mikhail...
Coz I needed.....
Something simple enough for
the lil' apprentice...
Something which doesn't require much
prep-work, ingredients & long winded instructions.
Something as easy as
whisk, mix, pour & bake....
Oh well!
I shall attempt Mom's version.
Soon.
Ntah bila, lah....
